NOR Nicotine Pods FAQ's

Are NOR NAKD pods nicotine pouches?

Yes, they are used just like a nicotine pouch, tucked under your top lip, and are tobacco-free. The difference is that NAKD pods are pouchless: there is no fleece bag. Instead, a natural agar binder keeps the pod together, which is why NOR calls them pods instead of pouches. They are not vape pods and do not contain e-liquid.

How strong are NOR pods?

NOR NAKD comes in two strengths, Mint at 14mg and Ice Mint at 22mg, both measured in milligrams per gram. The 14mg Mint is about 10.5mg of nicotine per pod, so both are strong pods best suited for experienced users. If you are new to nicotine, start with a lower strength.

What are NOR NAKD pods made of?

Each pod is tobacco-free and all-white, made from plant fibres, nicotine, flavouring, and a natural vegan agar binder that replaces the usual pouch bag. They contain no tobacco leaf and no microplastic, and the pods are fully compostable.

How long do you keep a NOR pod in?

Place one pod under your top lip and leave it in for 30 to 60 minutes. You will feel a tingle as the nicotine is released. There is no need to chew it, and since it is pouchless there is nothing to spit out.

How many pods are in a can of NOR NAKD?

Each can contains 20 pods and costs £4.49, with bulk discounts when you buy more. Both the Mint and Ice Mint are available for our mix and match bundles.

What makes NOR NAKD pods different?

NOR is made by Den Norske Snusfabrikken, The Norwegian Snus Factory, and every pod is tobacco-free and all-white. The NAKD range is the main feature: it is a patented pouchless design. Instead of the usual fleece pouch, NAKD uses a natural vegan binder called agar to hold the pod together, so there is no bag to throw away afterwards. The pods contain no microplastic and are fully compostable, which is unusual in this category. You still use them like a pouch, placing them under your top lip, and each can contains 20 pods. It is a cleaner, lower-waste version of the typical nicotine pouch.

NOR NAKD flavours and strengths

The range is simple: two mint pods at two strengths, so you choose based on how much of a hit you want. Both are strong pods designed for experienced users, so they are not recommended if you are new to nicotine.

Pod	Flavour	Strength	Best for
NOR NAKD Mint	Clean, cooling mint	14mg	Regular pouch users
NOR NAKD Ice Mint	Cold, icy mint	22mg	Experienced users wanting a bigger hit

The strength is listed as milligrams per gram, so the 14mg Mint comes out to about 10.5mg of nicotine per pod. Both are in the strong to extra-strong category. For a comparison with other brands, see our nicotine pouch strength guide, or browse our strong and extra strong ranges.

How to use NOR pods

Using a NAKD pod is just like using any nicotine pouch. Place one pod between your gum and top lip, a bit to one side, and leave it in for 30 to 60 minutes. You will feel a mild tingle as the nicotine is released, and since the pods are pouchless you get flavour without anything to spit out. When finished, the pod can go in the compost. New to pouches? Our how to use nicotine pouches guide will walk you through it.

Who are NOR pods for?

NOR NAKD pods are strong, so they are best for existing pouch users and heavier ex-smokers, not beginners. If 14mg is your usual level, the Mint is the natural choice, and the 22mg Ice Mint is there for when you want something stronger. If you are new to nicotine pouches, start with our low or medium strength options and work your way up. If you like the idea of a pouchless, tobacco-free product, they also offer a clean alternative to traditional snus.
